I gave two stars because of the facilities and the stones really did feel nice. I don't know if she was having a bad day or what but being massaged by someone putting off that type of energy doesn't make for a good massage. The energy of this person was just so negative. I can take a lot of pressure but I did not appreciate how I was jerked into positions or her aura of annoyment when I wasn't in the right position. Three times I almost ended the massage but didn't want the person who paid for me to feel bad. There was no light touch or relaxation at all. She was flicking yes flicking pieces of my hair that got in the way. Then I got manhandled and I don't mean the pressure of the massage. This woman acted like it was just another job for her which was fine. I get massages twice a month from a chriopractor and every massuse there you can tell enjoys the art of massage. I was hoping they weren't who were going to massage us but I ended up with the one. It could just be me but I felt like they were talking about us and not in a nice way. However, as we were sitting and filling out our forms two ladies were looking right at us and whispering. After my experience I read through them and noticed most of the positive comments were about facials which I didn't have. I was really shocked after visiting here about the rating I saw prior. The pictures we took do not do justice as there is just so much to do and explore. I HIGHLY suggest picking your ticket time slot for opening(10 AM on Saturday) as there are less people and you have more freedom to roam without walking around others. For the adults, there is a wine tasting section w/ many different options for an additional cost of course. Once complete, you get a free donut as a prize! For the little ones, there are different interactive games and activities all included with the admission. There is a scavenger hunt sheet at the front entrance with 8 different locations. This farm is family friendly for sure, but also great for couples and friend groups. The apple cider and apple cider donuts are a MUST. There is ample amount of seating both in the shade and the sun. There are vegetarian options(veggie soup & veggie chili) at the food court for those wondering. We forgot to take pictures of the market, but it had fresh produce and baked goods. One of my favorite features to the farm were the nature trails and nature descriptions posted all around. For a $12 admission fee, I felt that the experience was worth it. The online ticket purchasing was smooth and I was able to add the tickets to my apple wallet. A beautiful photogenic location with lots of free roaming wildlife and “petting zoo” animals. Otherwise, if you have children there isn't much more to entertain them other than the two small concession stands on the beach. There's not much to do at the beach, but relax and maybe read about the history of Ocean Grove. Also, Ocean Grove is a "Dry Town" not allowing the sale of alcohol. Even now the beach is closed on Sundays until noon all summer as you are supposed to be in church. Ocean Grove residents parked in neighboring Asbury or Bradley Beach so they could use their cars on Sundays. Fun Fact: For religious reasons, until as recently as 1980, Ocean Grove "Blue Laws" were in effect that prohibited driving cars, riding bikes, swimming or selling tobacco on Sundays. Some of the original tents from early 1900s are still there. It's a huge building where they do masses and concerts. Two blocks from the boardwalk is the Great Auditorium, which was built in 1894. This is a religious town with a unique history. Ocean Grove motto is "God's Square Mile At The Jersey Shore" and there is a little chapel on the boardwalk where masses are held and summer concerts. The center of town is two blocks from the boardwalk with restaurants and shopping stores and all parking spots were taken. There weren't many people on the beach so I guess they were walking around town. I was there on a Friday afternoon, not even the summer crowd, and there were not many available parking spots. It's only a small area of beach with beautiful Victorian homes. Ocean Grove is nestled between Bradley Beach and Asbury Park Beach.
